HELPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO DEVELOP THEIR DOCTORAL THESIS IN THE UR

These grants are intended to finance the call for predoctoral personnel training contracts for the realization and development of their doctoral thesis in the UR.

To be able to access these predoctoral contracts, you must hold a bachelor’s degree, an engineer, an architect, a university graduate with at least 300 ECTS credits or a university master’s degree and have been admitted to a doctoral program at the UR.

The Government of La Rioja, through the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, will contribute up to 21,219.40 euros per year for each predoctoral contract, also financing short stays in other research centers or universities.

HELPS TO COMPLETE THE INVESTIGATIVE TRAINING OF YOUNG DOCTORS

This is a line of aid launched in 2017, through which the Rioja Executive finances up to 39,613 euros per year each contract, up to a maximum of 4 contracts to young UR doctors who have previously been beneficiaries of contracts predoctoral These contracts, one year of full-time dedication, will be developed in foreign R + D + I centers of recognized prestige and in a specific line of research. Exceptionally, they can complete their research training in a Spanish center of recognized prestige.

These grants are intended for research personnel who hold a doctorate degree and who are incorporated as teaching and research staff at the University of La Rioja, with a research profile in two priority areas: Paleontological Heritage and Spanish Language.

The work to be developed consists of preferably research tasks, oriented to obtain a high level of specialization, leading to a scientific production with a high degree of impact. The agreement will allow the hiring for a year (extendable four years) of two researchers with a contribution by the Riojan Executive of up to 61,000 euros per contract.

AID FOR INTERNATIONAL TEACHER STAYS

The fourth program financed through this agreement with the University of La Rioja is aimed at medical professors, with a contractual relationship with the UR and who wish to carry out a stay abroad. The aid may be used to finance the costs of moving and installing in the country, a supplement for residence expenses and expenses incurred by the substitution of the teacher at the University of La Rioja during their stay abroad.

The objective of this line is to increase and strengthen the relationships between research teams belonging to different universities and research centers, as well as to encourage the participation of researchers in mobility calls. These international stays will be associated with a research project and will last between two weeks and three months.
